Cognisense Labs demonstrated their system in July 2003 on a prototype robotic landmine-clearing vehicle, dubbed the Mini-Flail, which was developed by the Robotic & Automation Section of the Ammunition Equipment Division at the Tooele Army Depot. At this point, the monitoring system used a Real-time Kinematic GPS setup in conjunction with the custom software developed by Cognisense Labs to monitor the ground cleared by the demining apparatus of the vehicle.
